It my luck indeed that day, first visit to the Krispy Kreme shop in Berjaya Times Square and it happened to be their 6 dozen years anniversary, a box goes for 50% off! Yay!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's simple to make. Senang giler. If doughnuts were in the fridge, micro it for bout 8secs as instructed. Slice the doughnut in half. I used a bread knife, u know, the jagged blade ones, It cuts better.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Took my Darabif Lamb burger from the freezer, slam straight onto the hot grill at high heat. Grill for bout 4 mins a side. Walla! Done! Tengok dalam fridge apa ada, hmm.. nampaknya ada ikan siakap. Chantek, goreng ikan siakap macam aku selalu makan kat restoran ala chinese food.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Guna apa yang ada kat rumah, tak semestinya kena ada bahan-bahan yang tertentu untuk menhasilkan sesuatu masakan. Be creative! experiment dengan rasa dan bahan-bahan. Just have fun.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ikan&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;siakap besar&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sos&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;2sb sos tomato&lt;br/&gt;1sk sos chili&lt;br/&gt;1sk sos tiram&lt;br/&gt;1sk minyak bijan&lt;br/&gt;1sk kicap cair&lt;br/&gt;100ml sos ikan&lt;br/&gt;garam &amp;amp; lada sekucup rasa&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tepung&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;tepung gandum&lt;br/&gt;tepung jagung&lt;br/&gt;garam &amp;amp; lada secukup rasa&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Cara buat&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;1. Simple jer. Nampak macam banyak. Ikan kena bersih dan buang segala lendir dan sisik. Aku dah takde benda tajam tuh, terpaksa guna bread knife sebab gerigi lebih kurang sama! kakaka. Dapur bersepah dengan sisik.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;2. Campur adunan tepung tuh semua. Celup ikan tadi (pastikan kering dan bersih kalau tak tepung tak rata) dan goreng dalam (maksud aku deep-fry la) dalam minyak kelapa sawit yang panas!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;3. Tengah goreng tuh, panaskan pot, campurkan bahan-bahan sos dengan bawang atau sayur-sayuran. Aku takde bahan sayur sebab dah habis. Sos kosong pun jadilah. Sebab aku lapar. Nak cepat punya pasal.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;4. Tuh jer. Simple. Tak complicated. Ikan yang digoreng garing tadi letak atas pinggan, sos yang panas tadi tabur jer atas.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;5. Bismillah. Makan dengan nasi panas. Aku selalu letak daun pandan. Bau memang wangi.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Sori beb, gambar takde. Aku lapar giler bab*. Anakku pun layaaan, Isteri aku pun kata ON walaupun dia rasa banyak sangat cuka aku letak. Aku seperti biasa memang layan benda masam nih. I reckon after Jalan Kejora, names like Jalan Marikh, Jalan Zuhal, Jalan UrAnus, Jalan Musyitari, Jalan Neptun, Jalan Pluto and so forth untill the end of the universe will appear around the vicinity.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Even I rarely go there to eat because it's mostly chinese street food i.e. non-halal I still feel dissapointed. I know people flock there for their alor chicken wings (the best one is at the end...i was recommended and filmed there), frog porridge (?) and other street foods.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; In New York one famous Malaysian restaurant Fatty Crab has Alor Chicken Wings in its menu so does any other &lt;a href="http://www.friedchillies.com/"&gt;World's Best Malaysian Restaurant&lt;/a&gt; around the world. "&lt;em&gt;What's Alor stands for?&lt;/em&gt;" one customer might asked "&lt;em&gt;It's named after the name of the road in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. And now the name of the road has changed to Kejora which means Venus&lt;/em&gt;". Venus chicken wings it is then! Booooriiiinnng........&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Sedih... Sedih... We're not kidding. He had to use two spatula's just to turn the murtabak over. We had to get this on film. Catch Riz narrating on Murtabak Larkin and getting hungry......&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;After a couple of massive murtabak's, the foodsters headed to across the road to lap up some delicious broth from a guy who called himself Mat Misai. Located in Larkin, Mat Misai's unique recipe for good soup makes it one of the best in JB. Cholesterol laden? Yup. Do we look like we care? Nope. We've even got footage on how cholesterol laden the soup was. Good for beef soup, soto and hungry foodsters alike. What we had for our main course? Alaskan Crabs, Wagyu Beef, Surf &amp;amp; Turf and Live Lobster Thermidor.  On the side we had freshly made mashed pototoes and spiced potato wedges.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;All were cooked to perfection by resident executive chef, Roland Kaiser. The meals prepared were absolutely fantastic. Especially the Lobster thermidor. The lobster itself was fresh, live one in fact before it goes into the oven. Not too overpowering with the taste of cheese and cream, you get to enjoy the taste of the lobster meat.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Alaskan Crab was totally new to me. It has a  meaty texture and the combination of butter, garlic, spices, etc went really well with it. Do you know that Alaskan Crab fishing is considered to be one of the most dangerous jobs in North America? I mean just look at the crab. It is considered to be the most tendered, most succulent and tastiest meat in the world. Perfectly prepared at medium-rare (2 minutes a side) over the iron skillet served with onion rings and green salads. My knife just glides easily over the meat and I enjoyed every second of it the moment it enters my mouth.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Really enjoyed the dining experience at Oggi. Well marinated and you get to taste the sweet juicy flavour that will burst in your mouth. Why don't take drive 60 minutes outside the city and head straight to Bagan Lalang for some fresh seafood and ikan bakar.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;One particular restaurant is HM Sri Bagan. Once you're here you need to have their Sup Ketam Istimewa (Crab Soup). A must! I absolutely fell in love with this dish.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Before I forget, come early! Like 530PM? Why? You get to sit by the sea and enjoy the magnificent sun setting down while you are enjoying your fresh seafood. Once it hits 730PM, make you are equipped with insect repellent as you'll be attacked! hehe. I'm ashamed of you guys. OM Burger or Burger Sri Tanjung have been around the same place, same spot for over 10 years in Ampang Jaya right in-front of the 7-11. All you Ramly burger fans, u know what I'm talking about.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I would say this is one sought after burger. Everyone talks about this burger in KL. Popular or commonly known as OM Burger or Burger OM, Sloppy  Joe's or plainly OM. FYI, OM is Uncle in Javanese.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;It's sloppy, greasy and full of fatness. ;) Be sure to avoid wearing white, as many people who eats this ended up getting stains on them. Reason being is that there is a consistent long queue or 10-15 people just to have the famous Batu Pahat's &lt;strong&gt;Syed Ibrahim Nasi Briyani Gam&lt;/strong&gt; (Bryani Rice).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Syed Ibrahim have been in this business for over 20 years. His Nasi Bryani Gam (Bryani Rice) recipe had made people from all over the neighbouring state just to have this here in Batu Pahat, even folks from all the way from KL will come down for lunch. Cicah is the art of dipping in sauce. We try to dip our food in anything that we reckon will amplify the taste the food we are eating.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;For instance the above photo of &lt;strong&gt;pisang goreng&lt;/strong&gt; (banana fritter) taken in Johor. During my food invasion trip there, Johorians loves their pisang goreng to dip in chilli soy sauce (kicap pedas). Whoa! What a fusion of taste. Seriously, I can't stop eating the bananas. In this state and province of Larkin, Johor Baharu the murtabak is far too special also known as murtabak Johor. It's special because this murtabak is made by layers upon layers upon layers of special mix ground beef, eggs, onions and layers of crispy dough.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The picture above is the Special Super Jumbo. Easily estimated at 9" x 6 ". That's HUGE!
